In some countries, if you haven’t been good throughout the year, you receive a lump of coal instead of your presents.

In WoL this Christmas, there does seem to be an awful lot of coal about. Bad schmad! Why let being bad stop you from getting what you want? With enough coal and a bit of hard work, you can still make sure you have some nice Christmas presents. Double win!

When invading Wildlands and Special Paradises, you may come away with some Lumps of Coal in addition to the usual spoils of war. Having this coal allows you to complete some new Christmas tasks to get rewards – you can either exchange the Coal itself or convert it into Christmas Diamonds which can be exchanged for more prizes.

To help you get started, the Advent Calendar prize for today was 20 Lumps of Coal – enough to exchange for one task, or enough to let you start converting it into Diamonds to save up for the higher tasks.
